Abstract
|
Photocatalytic reaction has been widely used in the field of environmental protection , hydrogen production , energy wait until . TiO2 has good photocatalytic performance and high efficiency , energy saving , no secondary pollution , is one of the most commonly used photocatalyst . However, TiO2 there some inherent defect : the larger band gap (3.2 eV ) , only 3% of the energy use of natural light ( to absorb wavelengths less than 387 nm light ) ; photogenerated carrier easy to composite , therefore, how to improve the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 modified to become a research focus of the current of Photocatalytic field at home and abroad . In this study, by the sol-gel - doped with different rare earth elements modified TiO2 nanoparticles photocatalyst prepared by coprecipitation experiments comparing its photocatalytic activity , the use of modern analytical tools such as TEM, XPS, XRD, BET, DRS catalyst shaped appearance, structure characterization based on experiments and characterization results , calcination temperature for the sol - gel prepared rare earth elements doping modified TiO2 nanoparticles photocatalyst activity , as well as in different wavelengths , REE nature modified for rare earth doped TiO2 catalytic degradation of organic contaminants in the mechanism of photocatalytic activity . The conclusions are as follows : sol - gel preparation of rare earth elements doped the modified photocatalyst TiO2 nanoparticles best calcination conditions of 450 ℃, 2 h; modified TiO2 nanoparticles photocatalytic properties in the ultraviolet region , affecting mainly the following three factors , the importance of descending order : 4f electron transition characteristics ; price change special role of rare earth doped photocatalyst ; radius of the rare earth ion . In the visible region , the impact of rare earth doped modified TiO2 nano particles photocatalytic activity of factors in order of importance : the special role of the variable price of rare earth doped photocatalyst ; 4f electron transition characteristics ; rare earth ion radius .
