Abstract

Piled raft foundation of high-rise buildings is a very complicated system which is related to many factors. In addition to the effects of the interaction of superstructure, foundation and soil, the natural soil stress is released by excavation, so that the surrounding foundation soil strata movement, which has a great of effects on piled raft foundation and affects their work performance. Based on this background, the paper analyzed the effects of pit excavation and the stiffness of superstructure on the vertical bearing behavior of group pile foundation. On the basis of reviewing and summarizing the related research of pile group, the interaction of superstructure, piled raft foundation and soil and the effect of excavation on foundation piles at home and abroad, the Mohr-Coulomb model and contact surface model are adopted to simulate the characters of soil and the interaction of pile and soil respectively, a 3-D finite element model based on the interaction of superstructure, piled raft foundation, soil and excavation is established by ABAQUS. It was carried out a large number of parameter analysis for the vertical bearing behavior of group pile foundation under the conditions of different excavation depth, different number of floor of superstructure, different modulus of elasticity of soil. The changes of pile group settlement, pile soil load sharing ratio, pile top resistance distribution, axial force of piles, lateral friction of piles, pile end resistance, pile flexibility and moment due to excavation are discussed. And the paper also compared the vertical bearing behavior of group pile foundation considering excavation with the situation of not considering excavation.Through the study of the paper, to get the basic knowledge of the effects of stiffness of superstructure and pit excavation on piled raft foundation of high-rise buildings, which has a certain degree of reference significance for the improvement of the piled raft foundation design theory.
