Abstract
|
Digital multiplexing and demultiplexing is an important technique in the network of communication, can improve the transmission efficiency in the way of multiplexing several low speed data flows into a high speed one. But the traditional technologies to achieve synchronous or asynchronous data digital multiplexing only by a dedicated ASIC chip, not flexible enough to use. As semiconductor technology advances, the development of large-scale logic devices, allows achieve digital multiplexing technologies flexibly, able to make on-site design according to different environment and different requirements, and has more superior performance. This thesis is aimed at the above problems, combined with advanced technology, make use of programmable logic gate array (FPGA) chip, has designed a data multiplexer for needs of interconnection between the mobile network and the cable network in a specific network .this multiplexer through modular design methodology, achieve the integrated business multiplexing functions by the organic combination of the traditional bit/word/frame multiplexing technology. The main contents include: first introduced the status and significance of the study of the digital multiplexing technology in building a private network in China at present. And then the basic principles of digital multiplexing technology are described, several different digital multiplexing method are compared. Finally, through top-down modeling of digital systems thinking, made a number of FPGA-based multi-service multiplexing system design method, described in detail multi-service multiplexing splitters details of the constituent modules, signal flow and specific functions. And through the multi-service multiplexing board have a comprehensive testing , validation results show that in this paper the design of multi-service multiplexer can be for multiple different types of low-speed service effective multiplexing stably.
