Abstract


These years, with the continuously development of information technology, small and medium companies are using IT system more commonly.Customer Relationship Management is a new concept of management, which aims to switch the goal of the enterprise from product-centered to customer-centered thus build and maintain a good relationship with the customers. With the help of information technology, the CRM concept is possible to be applied, and as a vital part of many enterprise information systems, CRM system is becoming a powerful tool and method to update the management model.Meanwhile, using Data Mining technology in CRM system is very popular in both academic and business circles. Data Mining could organize and output meaningful information and rules from a mess of raw data, thus help the management layer to make decisions and operate the company.CRM helps the company to understand the customer and the market, and with the Data Mining Technology, it’s possible for the company to find out useful information in the mass and thus make an important decision. The combination of CRM and DM build a unified platform for every department and staff in the company to log and share the data, then generate useful information by rules and models, thus gives the small and medium companies a better way to develop.This article research the CRM system for small and medium companies based on the DM technology. An introduction about CRM and DM is firstly given, followed by a discussion on possible DM technology that would be used. After that, a CRM system model is designed and developed in the case of Nanjing Tenda Company.EasyCRM supplies a unified platform about customer data, and is easy to deploy. By logging and analyzing the customer data by EasyCRM, Nanjing Tenda Company is now able to efficiently allocate the resource, maintain the customers and discover the potential business opportunities. The system helps the company to update the management approach and development. The system is modular and easy to use, which also meets the requirement of small and medium companies. This article proceed with the actual requirement of a small and medium company, design and develop the EasyCRM system based on DM technology, and summarize the solutions in the project, which might help any other CRM applications.
