Abstract


The level or ability of education management is an important part to evaluate the whole level of teaching management of a certain school. Meanwhile, as a vital role the management plays in higher education, it is also the core and basis of the college management. With the rapid development of net and communication, the limit of time and space has been broken by data processing and the conveyance of message, and then the informationization will be a trend which can’t be stopped. Hereby, to explore a kind of education management system will be an urgent need in the college.QianNan Vocational and Technical College for Nationalities is a composite college which is compatible in science and art, and it consists of four technical secondary schools. The staffs are made up of full-time, part-time teachers and also appointers and the students cover the junior vocation, senior vocation and adult education as well. At the present time, the college contains five different departments and a training centre. As it gathered four schools, all departments have their own information management systems which can not realize integration and network of work in the college, which has brought out redundancy of data .It blocks work of the Dean’s Office in the college, at the same time, the Dean’s Office cannot gather and supervise the information resources to feed back. Teaching management in every department has been a lot of problems. Thus, a teaching information management system is so necessary now.According to the requirements of management of the credit system in the education administration of QianNan Vocational and Technical College for Nationalities, and with the technology of Microsoft SQL Sever 2005, Microsoft Visual studio.net 2008 and ASP.net, the thesis explores the design and development of teaching information management system of QianNan Vocational and Technical College for Nationalities upon the pattern of B/S. When the goal is achieved, the whole resources will be optimized; the teachers, classrooms, labs and time will be used efficiently; the problems of the shortage of resources and the arrangement of classes, labs and examination room will be solved; the transport of scores and courses will be fulfilled smoothly; the standardization of teaching resource management will also be achieved. All above demonstrates fully the idea of management of the credit system.
