Since China started reform and opening-up, its economy growth has been developing rapidly. In recent years, Chinese government has put much emphasis on the development of the central region of China. In that case, as one of provinces that lie in the central region of China, Jiangxi Province is facing its unprecedented opportunity for development. Logistics development, as one part of economic development that serves as a new pusher of our economic development, should be brought onto the agenda of development. Traditional logistics development has not only brought us various economical and social benefits but also caused a great harm to the environment and resources. Jiangxi province, as a less developed area, should learn more experience and lessons about logistics development from those foreign countries and developed provinces in China, which could help to avoid detours and develop green logistics.Jiangxi Province lies in the radiation core of Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and the southeast of Fujian Province, so it enjoys an excellent geographically strategic location for logistics development. However, there are many factors that constraint logistics’ development, such as the unfavorable economic environment, weak infrastructure, lack of talents, people’s little knowledge about green logistics, government’s inadequate attention and so on. Logistics can make great contribution to the development of green economic growth in Jiangxi Province, and improve people’s quality of life. Therefore, How to grow green logistics in Jiangxi Province is the core problem of the paper.In the first two chapters of this paper, we describe the basic viewpoints of green logistics, including the concept, the development, the theory and the operation mode of green logistics. In the third chapter, we present the situation of logistics development in Jiangxi Province and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of green logistics development with SWOT. In the fourth chapter, we analyze the green logistics of Jiangxi province by way of factor analysis and comprehensive evaluation. Finally, in the fifth Chapter, we bring up the strategy of green logistics development in Jiangxi Province.
