Abstract


Scientific literacy level of understanding of science and the use of scientific problem-solving skills and engaged in scientific activities reflect the academic literacy general. Several aspects, including scientific knowledge, scientific method, scientific spirit, scientific attitude and scientific value. Master of Physical Education level of scientific literacy directly affects their training quality, is the key to the ability to develop innovative Master of Physical Education. This study defines the concept and content of scientific literacy, to build China sports science graduate dimensions and indicators of scientific literacy, understanding of the current situation of the Master of Physical Education Science Literacy. Using literature data, expert investigation method, questionnaire and mathematical statistics method in the study, a survey of 17 universities, 402 full-time Master of Physical Education. The preliminary conclusions of the study: Master of Physical Education level of understanding of the scientific terminology is not high, the lower the level of understanding of the nature of science; Master of Physical Education level of understanding of the specific method has a high degree of understanding of the methodology and research methods used literature data, the survey method, statistical methods of descriptive statistics, assuming higher inspection and understanding; most of the sports science graduate to understand the importance of unity and cooperation with certain innovative spirit of exploration; Physical Education Master Graduate of the scientific value of the overall low level of awareness, part of the Master of Physical Education to be recognition of academic misconduct; Master of Physical Education of both positive and negative aspects of the scientific understanding clear. Master of Physical Education in the different context of scientific literacy of each dimension and sub-dimension differences. Master of Physical Education level of scientific literacy by campus academic culture and curriculum, mentors academic standards and school culture system, graduate students their own quality management system and policy factors. Dissertation proposal: optimize the curriculum, to broaden the level of knowledge, improve the scientific literacy of the Master of Physical Education; strengthen the practice of scientific research, training and explore innovative spirit and the scientific spirit of unity and cooperation, Master of Physical Education Science Literacy; to strengthen academic environment construction, culture realistic scientific attitude, improve the scientific literacy of the Master of Physical Education; social practice, and guide students to a correct understanding of the scientific value, improve the scientific literacy of the Master of Physical Education.
