Abstract


Changchun City is development at a fast speed in this period. And the land use conditions are changed greatly. This paper analyzes the characteristics of land use change both in quantity and in spatial by the evaluation index of geographic information map and regional economic based on the related statistical yearbooks and other papers after translating the data of mss image in 1989, aerial images in 2001, Geoeye remote sensing image in 2001.Construction of a database of land use change and statistical analysis showed that: the overall trend of land use change in Changchun city and suburban is that with the farm land and water area are reducing the construction land the area of which the greatest one and is about 66% of the total area increased from 202 kilometers to 604 kilometers in this 20 years from 1989 to 2009.Extraction of remote sensing images obtained in 1989, the city edge of the city is 141.25 square km area, and urban area in 2001 was 317 square kilometers, an area of 589 cities in 2009 square kilometers. Rapid urbanization. Changchun City, 1989, 2001 and 2009 images for edge extraction, drawn into the rapid expansion of land area, 4.69 square kilometers per year, respectively, and the annual expansion rate of 25 square kilometers.Urban scale is analyzed using population data and area data. The structures of industrial are analyzed by the ratio of GDP and industrial structure. The driving forces of population growth are indicated by population growth ration and mechanical growth ratio. it was showed that the development of high-tech industry, the area expansion of land using for educational research and business areas, and the relations between transport and city expansion. By quantity analysis of land use map and driving force index the major factors influencing regional economy from agriculture are the agricultural population and the overall power of agricultural machines. The main factors of city land use change are agricultural population and investment in fixed assets.
