Abstract


Steel industry is fundamental industry, steel industry’s development is bad, other industries will not development, at present, China’s steel industry develops slowly, there exist such as irrational industrial structure, overproduction and competitiveness low many problems. Therefore, the state council issued a series of measures to stimulate the healthy development of steel industry.This article is in this context, explore of the relationship of steel industrial concentration and financial competitiveness, and answer that: What are influence factors of China’s steel industrial concentration? Through mergers and acquisitions increasing industrial concentration can enhance the company’s financial competitiveness? If you can enhance , how to improve industrial concentration? Which aspects of financial competitiveness should enterprises focus on? In the context of increasing merger and reorganization, how should the enterprise improve their financial competitiveness?From financial perspective, this article researches the relationship between market concentration and financial competitiveness in china’s steel industry ,discusses the path to improve steel enterprise financial competitiveness. On the basis of research achievements, defines the market concentration of steel industry, analysis the influence factors, then use the SWOT method to analysis the current situation of China’s steel industry concentration; the analysis of financial competitiveness, the start with the standardized analysis method to focus on the definition, components, formation mechanism, evaluation system of financial competitiveness, and focuses on analysis the current situation of financial competitiveness competitiveness in China’s steel industry. Finally, combining the two studies, from an empirical point of view, researches the relationship between market concentration and financial competitiveness in china’s steel industry, the conclusion is: steel industrial concentration and financial competitiveness exits significant correlation, the improvement of steel industrial concentration, is helpful for the improvement of financial competitiveness. In this paper the main contribution is combed the relationship between market concentration and financial competitiveness in china’s steel industry, so far the literature to research the relation of market concentration and financial competitiveness are rarely, can say this is fang-tsang, it is just the limitations of this study also the value of it.
