Abstract


In an urban development plan, public transport development is related to the urban traffic is convenient key . Therefore the establishment of a comprehensive public transport system is works for a major event. China is currently the most widely used public transport or buses , the use of intelligent transportation technology development is an inevitable trend . In this paper, the use of ZigBee technology to achieve intelligent transportation system (APTS) development overview, prospects , and from the overall system design , hardware design, software design and other aspects of the ZigBee electronic stop sign make a more detailed exposition. Finally, the feasibility of this application and development prospects was described . Specifically designed to work as follows: This paper presents a new intelligent transport system. The system is based on distributed ZigBee network , able to lower the cost of completion of all the line of the vehicle location and prediction , also has high reliability and ease of scalability . The system uses Ti 's ZigBee RF chip CC2430 and Samsung's 32-bit embedded ARM9 chip S3C2410, for the completion of data processing systems as well as between the stop sign and stop sign and the vehicle data transfer between terminals . In this paper, the design of the intelligent transportation system works and the network topology is proposed electronic stop sign , car terminals, and each node processes design. The system uses the ZigBee network using divided into several areas , border routing methods used for data transmission , thus forming covering all bus lines within the city 's ZigBee system . The system uses OPNET simulation results show that the public transport system to meet the requirements .
