Abstract


With the development of the information age,the project of life-cycle management of building more and more dependent on the variety of information technology. It has become an inevitable trend that achieving to the projects of life-cycle management of information technology and controlling over the design, operation of the construction and the management of maintenance.So it is one of the most important aspect to achieve the life-cycle management that building a information model for the project of life-cycle management in the early of the architectural design.The information model of life-cycle management of building is a comprehensive information model.It make these information to intergrade and visual such as the infprmation about project design, operation of the construction and the management and so on.It was built as a unified information platform through the project life-cycle stage, and it organized the every part of the project achieving to information sharing, and ensuring information integrity and timeliness.Building information model is a continuing process from the beginning of architectural design to the professional constantly improve and modify. It realize a true expression of the virtual information architecture through the whole project life-cycle management.In this paper, It was analyzed that the operational process of the project life-cycle stage ,and the status quo of information management. And then introducting the concept of building information model,it was proposed that the role of idea and the principles of proposed the establishment of the information model through construction projects in the life-cycle management. In this paper,according to the characteristics of building information model ,it was proposed that it is the the prerequisite and foundation of implementing information life-cycle management that establishment of an information model in the stage of architectural design. And focuses on the change in architectural design process result from introducing building information model,and the effection on the process of architectural design work and intelligent work, as well as new methods of working. At the same time, it was discussed that impact on other stages of the projects life-cycle management,such as the early construction of information infrastructure, as well as life-cycle cost control of information technology, construction, operation maintenance stage of the application of building information model. Consequently the conclusion of this paper make a certain role in the reform of project life-cycle management, but also give a new ideas and methods in the development and practical application of information on the architectural design.
