Abstract


Due to expanded enrollment in Chinese colleges for many years, the number of college students has reached more than 28 million.There arouse some unsatisfactory phenomenons which have caught our special attention, such as crowded classroom, teachers don’t have time for extracurricular communication and counseling and so on. So the original mode of teaching is no longer adapted to real needs, all the vocational colleges demand urgent innovations of teaching manner and method.In order to improve the teaching quality of Anhui Business College of Vocational Technology, it is necessary to explore network teaching platform system. The systerm design and related framework design of this research are based on the existing campus network system, fully absorb the network teaching experience and characteristics of other colleges, take into account of previous practical experience in the exploration of management information system for the student, thus ensure the practicability, scientificalness and accuracy of exploring network teaching systerm at this time. Network teaching system invents a virtual network teaching community, reaches two purposes of assisted instruction and independent study, supply related basis for the scientifical decision given by the management staff in the college. Main points of this thesis are as follows:Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of B/S and C/S mode, establish the design of management system based on B/S mode. Research on the architecture of the system and functional module design based on the requirement analysis, outline design, detailed design and database design of the systerm. This systerm has five modules in total. User login module is to give corresponding function authorities to different users. Teaching module is to complete the upload and download of courseware resource as well as audio and video on demand functions. Online-testing module is to let students have online examinations, give online feedbacks and enjoy online communications, supply a BBS forum for teachers and students. Back admin module is to supply important protection for the overall management of database and realization of former module. All the detailed designs and implementation of the modules are demonstrated in the thesis.
