Abstract

CDMA (Code Division multiple access) occupies the mainstream among the mobile commutation nowadays, which utilizes the orthogonal codes for different users’modulation to realize the system access and web communication. The spectrum spreading is obtained by the modulation of the orthogonal or nearly orthogonal code. Hence, this sort of modulation contributes to another name of the communication: spectrum spreading communication. With such advantages as high spectrum efficient, high gain and high capacity, a serial of difficulties show up simultaneously: multi-access interference, inter-code interference, near-far effect, cell breathing effect and multi-paths effect etc. To copper with the sorts of services emerging, updating QoS, huge demand of user capacity and the electromagnetic environment of channel more and more complexly, the voice calling for the innovation of present CDMA system to meet with the new situation and comprehensive requirements rises, and W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA come towards maturity etc.The basic theory of oblique projection is discussed in this paper, of which the application in signal separation and interference suppression is preliminary explored, and a novel OC-CDMA system based on non-orthogonal mechanism, combined with current DS-CDMA system, is proposed here, we give the prove of feasibility analysis and the performance demonstration, with tiny architecture changes brought in to DS-CDMA, large promotion within its performance and address capacity can be gained magically from the using of oblique projection for demodulation, also we can acquire the large release of orthogonal feature in PN codes, moreover, the problem of MAI which is serious concerned in conventional CDMA system can be canceled, finally, a serial of algorithms for code selection are provided and evaluated respectively.
