Abstract


The thesis is based on the development of the power and supply water of Management Information System for Chengdu Railway Administration(PWMIS).Firstly, the paper simply introduced the theory of the Management Information System and its development. Considering the development tendency of informationalization management of the railway and the realistic circumstance of the Power And Supply Water system of the railway, a conclusion is given that it is necessary to design and develop a Management Information System for the Power And Supply Water of the railway. Furthermore, the benefit returns and the parts of the research are discussedSecondly, the organization of the management of the power and supply water and the network structure are given. The demands of PWMIS from the railway managing department is focused in this paper and at the same time the analyses of the customer demands is given.Thirdly, the paper introduced the Multi-layer system structure and realization, the application server implementation, information standardization. Detailed design is represented through six models such as the supply water operations management , the power and supply water dispatch management, the power operations management and overhaul models etc .In the end, realization of PWMIS is explained with the six function models’s interface design and the development of PWMIS is summarized.
