Abstract


Industry restructuring enables telecom operators to compete in the whole range of business operations services commence. All business operation services refers to the business integration as an entry point, and actively promote the network convergence, multi-service and information service development; business integration and network convergence are two key points in this process.Network convergence is the ultimate goal of telecom operator’s network development in the full business operation services background, which is the most fundamental network infrastructure to support the integrated service.Broadband service is the core of the integrated services competition. In this competition, the network resources determine ability of telecom operators to supply broadband service. Therefore, the development of broadband access network attracts more and more telecom operators’ focus in full-service operations. At present, each the telecom operator has their own network resource. The advantage of traditional mobile operator (China Mobile) lies in its extensive wireless network coverage, mature services, as well as the giant scale, while relatively weak in the wired-based FTNS business market. The advantages of traditional fixed-line operators are their fixed-line customer resources, and the last kilometer fixed broadband access network, while relatively weak in the wireless network reserves. It is obviously, the traditional mobile operators need to enhance the broadband access network construction in the full business operation services background.In this paper, combined with the author’s rich experiences in China Mobile Guangdong Co., Ltd Zhaoqing Branch broadband access network construction project or the practice of engineering, we study the traditional mobile operator’s broadband access network planning and building programs in full business operation services. Papers mainly include:forecast to broadband service demand of mobile operators; comparative analysis of the typical construction mode of broadband access networks; analysis of the access network’s technical standards, access method, device type, network construction principles and network architecture, proposed mobile operators building broadband access network program; finally, according to the actual situation and project models in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province,we give some model study to traditional mobile operator for the broadband access network planning and construction
