Abstract


In the open economy conditions, excess liquidity in China’s economic operations has become a prominent issue. From historical and other country’s experience. If the problem of excess liquidity is not handled properly, it will usually have a negative impact on the economy; will lead to economic overheating and even the financial crisis. Face this situation; government has introduced a variety of control measures actively, such as increasing the legal reserve requirements, raising the deposit and loan interest rates and other means of recovery of excess liquidity. Governments and central banks that play a positive response to the situation of excess liquidity indeed played a role of mitigation, but the effect is not very obvious. Thus, whether it is for the impact of excess liquidity on China’s macro-economic, or for the settlement of the operation of China’s economic problem of excess liquidity, study on China’s excess liquidity has a practical significance.Through the four indicators of excess liquidity, that is the currency over-supply, the continue expanding interest margin, the excess reserve ratio remains high and rapid increases of asset prices to determine the still existence problem of china’s excess liquidity. Excess liquidity do harm to China’s economic, a profound analysis of the reason behind the phenomenon of excess liquidity and come to our country’s economic structural imbalance is the root cause of excess liquidity. Faced the excess liquidity in China , it can not simply rely on the monetary policy of macro-control, and should use monetary policy and fiscal policy, and the combination of financial institutions reform and foreign exchange system reform, this is a multi-pronged and comprehensive management method. Based on the above analysis, we made some policy proposals and measured to make it has more practical significance to the operation.
