Abstract


China from the 1990s to encourage qualified Chinese enterprises, especially listed companies to carry out cross-border mergers and acquisitions , especially after China's accession to the WTO , clearly established \However, China , as a developing country at this stage, vigorously develop foreign direct investment and especially transnational mergers and acquisitions suitability . Been scholars in a macro perspective on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and the economic development of the empirical research , in the microscopic point of cross-border M \u0026 A and Corporate Performance empirical research less . To address this issue , this paper as a sample to carry out cross-border mergers and acquisitions of listed companies in China to study the cross-border mergers and acquisitions of listed companies in China are able to improve enterprise performance level around the cross-border M \u0026 A performance test using the cumulative excess yield , long-term performance study law test , financial risk forecast test on the enterprises of China 's cross-border mergers and acquisitions announced income , profitability , asset management, financial risk each of empirical research , empirical results show that cross-border M \u0026 A of Chinese Listed positive wealth effect to shareholders only in the short term , the long-term negative the wealth effect , cross-border M \u0026 As in the current conditions does not give a listed company to create value . Sample companies of this study by the time factor and the impact of broader changes in factors such lesser number of financial data for only three years before and after investment data , follow-up studies will be selected in a longer time interval and number of samples , and take effective measures to eliminate the impact of broader market factors on inspection , and thus more comprehensive study of the impact of cross-border M \u0026 A performance of listed companies in China .
