Abstract


Shanghai Baosight Software Company Limited is the model software company which realizes the perfect integration between information and traditional industrialization to promote the development of steel industry through information system deployment. Information development has turned into the established strategic related industry maintaining Baosteel continuous development, which takes the significant role in supporting Baosteel business development to realize a series of strategic goals, involving the expansion of the business scales, integrated innovation and circular economy development in new round of strategic planning.Baosight becomes the leading enterprise in the information industry with excellent annual growth performance since he successfully entered into Shanghai Stock Market in year 2001. Baosight hasn’t stopped his development step and has continued to expand his major business scopes to Intelligent Transportation, IT service outsourcing, MES and so on. As well, Baosight has successfully expanded his service scopes to the other large industries including Petrochemical, Metallurgical and Manufacturing industries, depending on his rich information service standards over 20 years in Steel industry.We are now facing drastic changes in the external environment. The author considers that he must re-consider and re-examine the development and planning of Shanghai Baosight Software Company Limited, as the studies direction of the thesis, from the new perspective of strategic development. The development of Baosight shall depend on the national industry development, combining with new round of Baosteel’s strategic development planning and analyzing the factors including industry characters, internal and external environment which company facing, the advantage and disadvantage of company, development objectives and implementation measures and so on. In the thesis, the author established the strategic synergy benefits selection between parent-subsidiary corporate and the clients through analyzing the industry characters, the internal and external environment which company facing, governance structure, business positioning, developing direction and so on; established the corporate short-team and long-term aims combing company SWOT analysis,QSPM analysis and competition strategic analysis; adjusted organization structure which adopts with the corporate objectives and gave the core measures of resource integration and acquisitions, strategic synergy and information construction in accordance with the implementation of Baosight overall strategy architecture.The author wants to give the proposals to other software companies which have the similar strategic synergy relationships between Baosteel and Baosight through the analysis of Baosight strategic planning. The strategic analysis to Baosight also can take the important role in promoting the integration process of information and national industrialization.
