Abstract

Automotive Logistics is considered to be the broadest, most technical and complex field of the whole logistics industry. In the automotive logistics, auto-parts inbound logistics is acknowledged as a key role to promote the logistics system to operate efficiently and continuously optimize. Driven by the rapid growth of China’s auto industry, Materials demand is getting more and more complicated. Conflict between auto-parts supply and modern production becomes more apparent. Therefore, how to combine car manufacturers’logistics system with third-party logistics company effectively, optimize the existing logistics operation model, and reduce logistics cost based on the reality of our country is an important research topic and content. This paper is aimed directly at the model of auto-parts inbound logistics, and a inbound logistics model based on the third-part logistics’JIT distribution was put forward. Building and optimize methods of dilivery system is also discussed.Firstly, this paper makes a comprehensive and systematic review on the concepts and theories of auto-parts inbound logistics, and summarizes the development of automotive logistics in China. After that, by analyzing the disadvantages of traditional auto-parts inbound logistics in our country, a new auto-parts inbound logistics model based on the third-part logistics’JIT distribution was put forward. The advantages and prerequisite conditions of the model are further discussed. Then distribution system is optimized from two aspects: on the one hand, selecting the site for Cross-Docking Center using the improved gravity method; on the other hand, milk-run vehicle route is optimized by two-stage Heuristic Algorithm combined with sweep method and tabu search algorithm. Finally, by applying the real case of an automobile company, the optimization methods for distribution system are verified.
