Abstract


As the development of domestic brand clothes market, establishing brand chain store has become a trend in the clothes trade. Mature clothing brand not only has great economic potential but has powerful propelling forces for the development of the society. Nowadays we see a great number of brand chain stores coming out very quickly. With more and more foreign brands’getting into domestic market, the competition between local clothes chain stores has been increasing. As a key section of the supply chain of the clothes trade, the distribution center links upstream manufacturer and down stream distributors and has great impact on the operation management. It is of great importance to carry out real-time, practical performance appraisal while developing the distribution system of clothes chain stores. Also it is so significant to the development of logistics capacity that is has been considered“the third source of profit”. So, it has become an urgent task for clothes firms to scientifically analyze the performance of clothes distribution centers.This study begins by reviewing the basic principles of the operation of clothes chain stores, and then, it continues to analyze the status quo of the clothes logistics and its features. Based on the analysis, it puts forward some simple suggestions on how to better manage clothes distribution centers and clothes logistics centers.Then, based on a specialized assessment model, this study establishes a performance assessment system, and according to the unique characteristics of the clothes distribution centers, it creates a fuzzy synthetic evaluation mode.In the end, the research provides a case to verify the validity and feasibility of this system.
