With the increased level of urbanization, the status of the small town in the national economy was more important., which related to people’s daily lives more and more attentions had been paid.But,some norms and standards for small towns water supply project wasn’t set.The study evaluated of water project planning stage rationality of small town and analyzed of small town water supply project development process, pointed out that China’s small towns water supply project current and some problems about the norms and and standards for small towns water supply project.This article first established a reasonable water supply planning evaluation criteria, by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method t to evaluate the rationality of planning for small town water supply projec, and gived improved countermeasures.Development of water demand indicators of small town in different parts of the country and found diurnal variation coefficient value of 1.0 ~ 2.1. By analyzing the current drinking water health standards in a small town in the actual implementation, develop small cities and towns in line with the actual detection of the 25 indicators and limits for routine testing.The study established the overall small town water resources planning evaluation criteria and evaluation methods, and to propose its own characteristics in line with the small towns water related indicators and quality standards, not only have the reference value for small town water supply project construction stage,but also have the guideline for the development of standards and norms in small town water supply project.
