Abstract

Snails as invasive species, has been in agricultural production, ecological environment and other aspects of parasitic disease spread produced a series of adverse effects. In recent years, with more and more widely snails hazard areas, endangering the crops growing, especially for rice harm caused worldwide immeasurable loss. Snails paddy rice-producing areas has become the local focus of pest prevention and control of objects, trying to effectively prevent and control the invasion of paddy snails and hazards is an urgent major research tasks. In this study, prevention and control technology currently snails biological control of this research focus, in April 2009 to October successively in Liuyang, zixing for prevention and control of rice-duck apple snails tests. This test uses a different species, different number of ducks set three times the level of repeat tests, the focus of prevention and control of investigating its effect on apple snails, combined with study its effect on other rice diseases, pests, weeds and yield. The results showed that: a. Rice-duck on snails prevention effect is very significant, the overall control efficiency than the control more than 90%, higher than the conventional chemical treatment 30% -35%; b. The same number of processing level, gold set Ducks on the pond in the control effect has obvious advantages, Jinding duck (smaller) the average control effect (94%) gt; Liuyang, zixing local duck (larger size), the average control effect (87% -93% ); c. rice-duck for other diseases, insects and weeds control also has a positive control effect, especially for rice planthopper and other common weeds (except barnyard grass, Leptochloa control effect is not obvious) Prevention the effect is very obvious; d. duck rice production area compared with the control zone to be higher than 25-50 kg/667m2, assimilation zone also higher compared to 10-20 kg/667m2. Considering all factors, recommended duck rice should choose small size, big appetite duck species (such as gold duck), the density lies in the 12 / 667m2 or so. In addition, this study also for the currently most widely used in the production process and because the simple choice of three types of pesticide control measures on the market efficient, inexpensive, low-residue agents, in August 2009 to October in Liuyang right prevention and control of snails in field trials. The results show that the overall control effect of 45% one hundred snails ranking enemy WP (95% or so) gt; 50% kill snails amine ethanolamine salt WP (85% or so) gt; 5% Mehta GP (80% or so). Molluscicide holding effect comparison shows that 5% of persistent efficacy Mehta GP best after the spraying 21d and 25% of the control effect, and in the 12d after application is presented slowly increasing trend, while 45 % one hundred snails enemy to kill snails and 50% WP amine ethanolamine salt WP molluscicide quick, within three days reached the maximum control effect. The pharmaceutical treatment area grain yield than the control treatment area were significant yield phenomenon, an average of 20-50kg/667m2, and with each of the test agents on apple snails is proportional to the overall control efficiency. Snails in rice occur density case, we recommend using the 45% one hundred snails enemy WP, its marketing concentration 45g/667m2. Incidence density of snails in rice paddies around the small and high density environments such as drains to prevent the primary purpose, it is recommended to use to kill snails longer duration 5% Mehta GP, its marketing concentration 400g/667m2.
