Abstract


To solve the problems that faces the dormitory management of Sichuan College of Architectural Technology, such as the increasing number of students and increasing difficult of management, the relatively less dormitory administrator and their weak ability to get and use information, the heavy working load of the daily dormitory sanitation and discipline examination, the accuracy and timeliness of dormitory information cannot meet the requirement. A system needs to be designed to solve those problems.After comparing some of the system that used currently, to meet the real need, we choose a mixed management system based on the B / S and C / S structure. It is a kind of information management system which combines the two kinds of structure together. In analyzing relevant technology which is elated with the development of the Dormitory Management System of Sichuan College of Architectural Technology, we use the UML techniques to make some standard design. During the process of systematic analysis, we used the object-oriented way of analysis and used UML techniques, which is a kind of object-oriented and visual modeling language, to set up a system model.In establishing the development model based on ASP .NET+ SQL Server, we realized the network and overall management of student dormitory, we can inspect the student dormitory’s sanitary and publish the result to all student immediately, we can manage all the student information, such as their asking for leaves and breaking the discipline, all at once, we can also follow the traces of all big and expensive items that goes in and out of the dormitory, we can timely react to student’s calling for reparation.Before the accomplishment of this study, we conducted testing experiment of the dormitory management system of Sichuan College of Architectural Technology through the IIS configuration locally and basically achieve the expected results.
