Abstract


NMS referred to as the network management system is a distributed network applications which including hardware and software. The network management to ensure efficient trouble-free network is NMS to run the main functions of. NMS includes five major functions: Fault Alarm Management (FM), Performance Management (PM), Configuration Management (CM), Security Management (SM), and Accounting Management (AM). Administrator of Measurements (AoM) is a subsystem of NMS which belongs to Performance Management.AoM application is used to manage the measurements in Network Elements (NEs) and also the collection of files related to performance management. And to make the user more easily operate, it also provides abstractions like templates & plans for the operator.AoM application provides generic functionality which supports multiple domains (Core, Radio and Transport) and several types of NEs within each domain. NE adaptations should bring the adaptor processes which facilitates communication between AoM and NEs. This application is used by client users to perform AoM operations for one or many NEs.User can create a template and then create a measurement plan based on the template or directly. A measurement plan contains the schedules, indicators and network elements which the schedules shall be configured on. The schedules will be configured on the network element after user activates the plan. System provides the CRUD operation for user on the template and measurement plan.The amount of the NMS in the world is small, so this system to some extent make up for gaps in related fields, advanced design concepts, using advanced technical support. The deployment of this system will greatly enhance the performance of stability and higher strength and disaster recovery safeguards.
