Abstract


So far, since the middle of 1980s, global industrial structure has been transformed from industrial economy to a service. Global service industry gradually achieved economic dominance, some developed countries used to be famous for its manufacturing industry, but now, service industry is absolutely the main body of the national economy and the power source. For example, the added value and employment of services industry in developed countries has amounted to 60%～70%. Producer service industry is in the high-end of the value chain, and it has the fastest growth rate in the world economy. It is the main component of modern service industry. There is a close relation between the producer service industry and regional economic development. It has an important role in promoting the economic development, changing the industrial structure and ascending competitiveness. To research the Jiangxi producer service industry, not only help us to understand and grasp the present situation of the development of Jiangxi producer service industry, but also helps to improve the level of economic development in Jiangxi province, to explore the rise of the central region also have important practical significance.This paper summarizes the literature theory in the past firstly, then definite the producer services in the basis of the theory research. Then, based on the current situation of producer service industry in Jiangxi province and the experience from the domestic and foreign, this paper focuses on the development mechanism of producer services and strategic significance in Jiangxi province. At last, according to the above analysis, this paper raises the relevant countermeasures and Suggestions to promote the development of producer services. This article is divided into six chapters on the structure. Among them, the first chapter is introduction. The second chapter is related introduction to the theory of producer services. Chapter 3 is the analysis of producer service industry in the present situation in Jiangxi. The fourth chapter is the international experience and reference on the development of producer services. Chapter 5 is the measures for speeding up the development of producer service industry in Jiangxi. Chapter 6 is conclusion and prospect.This paper analysis the overall and industry structure situation of producer services in Jiangxi. Through the researches on the causality of Jiangxi producer service industry and economic development, industry contribution measurement, employment absorption capacity analysis and compare to the central region of other provinces, the paper gives the following conclusions. Jiangxi producer service industry in general is small in scale. The traditional producer service industry has the bigger proportion than the modern producer services, so the industrial structure should be optimized. There exist the positive causality between producer service industry and economic development of Jiangxi, so developing production services can promote the development of economic. The traditional productive service industries have better performances in the industry contribution and employment absorption capacity than modern productive service industry. But in recent years, the two indexes of modern productive service industry are rising rapidly. According to the analysis on current situation and the empirical results and so on, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and Suggestions on the development of producer service industry in Jiangxi province. Firstly, to make sure the overall positioning on development of Jiangxi producer service industry. Secondly, strengthen the policy support from the government on producer service industry. Thirdly, the enterprise should explore feasible strategies actively. Fourthly, the society should response the development of producer services actively.
