Abstract


With the popularization of the Internet (Internet) and IP technology , the development of VoIP technology , the continuous improvement of the VoIP products in the telecom market in the possession of the share , VoIP technology has become one of the hottest topic in the computer industry and telecommunications industry . H.248 protocol is simple , flexible and scalable , to become one of the most important agreement in the VoIP technology is considered to be a key technology in the next generation network technology . The Softswitch technical control , hosting and business separate three typical technology . Media Gateway Control Protocol is a standard interface protocol softswitch Softswitch network control layer and access layer in a variety of media gateway . H.248 is one of the typical interface protocol for media gateway control . Inherited all the advantages of conventional media control protocol based on the H.248 protocol to achieve a powerful description of the application layer to provide more support , management and implementation easier to have a good control of media bearer . With the continued integration of PSTN and IP network , as the H.248 protocol softswitch and media gateway communication protocol will also become increasingly important. Diversification of the transmission and processing of information between heterogeneous networks ( such as the PSTN and IP networks ) , fast , urgent requirements as a the relay gateway of media conversion equipment to be able to adapt to this development . In this paper, the authors involved in the project , the specific the the relay gateway H.248 protocol design and implementation process . This paper first introduces the the VoIP key technology and its architecture , and then compare various VoIP signaling protocols , on this basis , highlights a the relay gateway on the H.248 protocol implementation process . The main program structure and module design , the first of the H.248 protocol in the relay gateway implementations canceled after the relay gateway registration , call setup and release of specific implementation process were described in detail . Finally, the article describes the the relay gateway H.248 module test environment , process and test results .
