Abstract


Along with fast innovation of science and technology,the information revolution emerges unceasingly and each kind of emerging media develop fleetly.The television has become the traditional medium gradually as long as them.Especially educational television,It is facing the new environment unceasingly and withstanding the impact which the new technology brings.The development and the survival has also been exposed the stern challenge.In new media times,Which difficult positions does the educational television face and Which encountered to challenge.Also where are its development superiority and opportunity?how does the educational television locate and develop is the important questions which the education television worker and educatational experts to be supposed generally to ponder and face.This article proposed the simple opinion and the suggestion from the foundation of fundamental research, literature research and investigation.I want to offer a few ordinary introductory remarks so that others may offer their valuable ideas and arouse the general theories and practices researcher’s attention.Then all of us offer advices for educational television in new media times and make the contribution for its development continuesly and healthy.This article altogether divides into five parts.The first part is introduction which introducted research goal, significance, method and research summary.The second part is the challenge and opportunity of educational television.It has analyzed the education television bitter experience challenge from received the numerous communities, the dissemination way and the movement system.It has analyzed the advantages which compares the new media.Then it analyses new opportunity which the television obtains from the manufacture technology fusion, the dissemination channel development, the interactive model and so on three aspects.Finally it analyzed simply demands of educational TV.The third part is the erroneous zone which educational TV avoids entering.The forth part is orientation of educational TV in new times.This part provided the ponder in new position from receives the audiences,the program content, the style form,the localization of target, the benefit and the appraisal localization.The fifth part is the development strategy of educational TV.It altogether divided into macroscopic and the microscopic part.The former andvanced public welfare, positive cooperation and battlefield grasps.The latter advanced multi-domain development, assurance cooperation thorough research cooperation type and television program brand foundation and so onThe development of Educationaltelevision is the Chinese national condition need,and is the comprehensive quality promotion need. Its development needs national support, society’s attention. Its research needs possess the theorist and the practical worker make efforts together to cause it to go out the difficult position and to help it realize the value and the tenet which is severing the full education,and the entire society.
