Abstract


Directed by Marxism-Leninism, Maoism, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of“Three Representatives”, the Scientific Outlook on Development , and guided by the scientific world outlook, outlook on life and values, the ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning is an educational activity which aims at training university students with firm political direction, political belief, great ideals, strong sense of social mission and responsibility as well as noble morality.The value of ideological and political education in Universities, including social values and individual values. In the The traditional mode of ideological and political education, pay attention to ideological and political education of the social value, but neglect the individual value of the Ideological and Political Education in Universities. In modern society, Conscious of the individual subject enhances, the individual value Highlights, A Research on the Individual Value and its Realization of the Ideological and Political Education in Institutions of Higher Learning has great theoretical and practical meaning.This thesis includes five chapters: Chapter One: Introduction. This part expounds the reason and meaning of this thesis’s project selection, its research relevant research status in the academic circle as well as its research thoughts and methods. Chapter Two: This part discusses the theoretical foundation, practical basis, and basic contents of the individual value in the ideological and political education from the theoretic perspective. Chapter Three: This part makes an investigation on the current individual value realization situation in the ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning. This paper takes the case of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, analyzing the result of the questionnaire survey and pointing out the existing problems. Chapter Four: This part analys the existing problems of the individual value realization situation in the ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning. Chapter Five: This part proposes measures for the realization of the individual value in the ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning through the way of demonstration to theory.
