Abstract


In recent years , short-range indoor wireless location to receive widespread attention , and positioning are also emerging . However , due to the different applications , power consumption , interference and communication cost , remains to be further study and improve the indoor positioning technology . ZigBee technology has just launched its low- price , low power consumption characteristics occupy a certain advantage in the market . There are a lot of companies have launched a wireless location solutions based on ZigBee technology . In July 2007 , Texas Instruments (TI) announced the industry's first with a hardware location engine system on a chip (SoC) solution CC2431 . The emergence of the chip so that the positioning algorithm can be done by the hardware , and achieve ZigBee positioning technology leap . Since then, a large number of positioning system based on CC2431 commercialization . The detailed analysis and research on wireless sensor network architecture and TI Z-stack protocol stack architecture . The first focuses on the method and the model based on the signal strength values ??ranging ; then calculated using MATLAB software to achieve the trilateration and the maximum likelihood estimation method both positioning algorithm simulation ; researchers then the design based CC2430/CC2431 chip node positioning systems and software in hardware based on the development of various types of nodes , using VC 6.0 environment developed SCADA software on the PC at the same time , wireless configuration visualization node parameters and the real-time dynamic monitoring of the status of each node ; final measurement and setting of the parameters for the outdoor environment and indoor environment , the positioning of the moving target tracking test in two different environments , given outdoor ideal environment for the coordinate values ??of the actual measurement and comparison algorithm MATLAB simulation results based on the two positioning wireless positioning software for the host computer to monitor the indoor and outdoor positioning process . Actual system measurements show that the system design of the CC2431 - based distributed localization method has a simple algorithm , good real-time features , positioning accuracy of 1 meter .
