The 21st century is a the emotional consumer era is characterized by the consumption of high - tech and emotional , consumer demand for the product features gradually weakened , and pay more attention to spiritual feelings and emotional experience . Therefore , the product design faced with how to adapt to the changing needs of consumers , how to meet the emotional needs of consumers , and how to accurately and efficiently design products to meet the emotional needs of consumers . This as an opportunity , the handheld GPS design project , for example , to help enterprises to establish an effective design for the target , the new product development process and the emotional needs of the consumers to establish a real-time information Contact ease of design accurate product positioning and designed with the consumer sensibility expectations consistent products .
