Optical Burst Switching (OBS) technology combines the advantages of optical circuit switching and optical packet switching , to overcome the bottleneck of electronic exchange of traditional optical network nodes , to meet the needs of the next generation of IP as the core business and applications . Introduction of OBS networks based on GMPLS control plane , can improve the OBS network resource utilization and reduce network congestion , paper GMPLS-based optical burst switching network and its key technology , to take the theoretical analysis , system modeling , algorithm simulation various means . The paper begins with an overview of the OBS / GMPLS network model for integration of the network , the node structure and protocol architecture , analysis and discussion of the the OBS control protocol and OBS / GMPLS unified control plane technology , focusing on a converged network path to the establishment of mechanisms and QoS guarantee program . RSVP-TE signaling mechanism - based optical channel establishment process , the paper presents an improved Resv message ahead of loopback mechanisms advance loopback Resv message in the first hop node of the destination node , the source node can send a burst data in advance package , thus shortening the resources successfully reserved time , simulation analysis shows that early echo delay mechanism built significantly reduced . An improved analysis on the basis of the already converged network QoS guarantee strategy - to seize and wavelength separation mechanism , based on QoS LSP shared mechanism , the upper and lower limits of the reserved by introducing wavelength resources for different levels , to achieve a wavelength the statistical multiplexing of resources . The simulation results show that , in the performance at the same time to ensure that high - priority traffic , QLS algorithm can effectively reduce the packet loss rate of the BE business and improve the average packet loss rate performance of the business .
