Abstract

The transducer member of the antenna as a radio communication system , which acts as an important role. With the continuous development of the mobile communication technology , the popularity of all kinds of wireless terminal from the promotion in the field of aerospace, maritime , antenna development today has become a system discipline . Different indicators requirement different due to a variety of practical applications , the antenna system , antenna low profile , volume miniaturization , high gain , high efficiency has been a hot spot within the antenna field . Surface plasmon polaritons ( SPPs : Surface the Plasmon polaritons ) effect and Periodic recess structure combining the recess structure cycle in the analysis of both the relationship that exists on the electromagnetic wave generated in the surface plasmon excitation bundling the effect of high-gain , low profile under the condition of keeping the antenna characteristics , while achieving a low cross-polarization , low sidelobe characteristics , improve the symmetry of the pattern . Combined with the actual needs , simulation , and production of both linear and circular polarization low profile high gain antenna . In the analysis of microstrip antenna multi-band technology based on the design of a low profile, dual-band microstrip antenna array . Finally, the combination of the periodic groove structure and the microstrip antenna , the design of a satellite navigation and positioning can be used for receiving and transmitting antenna unit , the antenna unit at the same time can be used for arraying , and can reduce the interaction between the units well coupling effects . The text of which is based on the analysis of the surface plasmon effect relationship periodic groove structure and microstrip antenna theory , combined with practical application needs , a detailed exposition of the new system of low-profile antenna design ideas , and gives four antenna design model and its corresponding simulation test results . The theoretical and experimental results show that this type of antenna in higher requirements on the antenna performance , smaller size , and has a potential value of antenna weight sensitive applications .
