With the people for high-capacity , long-distance communication system requirements continue to increase , 40Gb / s optical fiber communication system has gradually begun to move from the laboratory to commercial . With the increase in the capacity and distance , the more and more prominent , and the impact of nonlinear effects on the transmission performance of the optical fiber communication systems using DPSK modulation is considered to be an important technology to reduce the impact of the non-linear effects . This paper studies the problem of nonlinear effects in the the DPSK optical fiber communication systems . In this paper, using the the compensated linear effect , methods to reduce the impact of a linear effect on the system in order to study the problem of the non-linear effect of the the DPSK optical fiber communication system . OptiSystem software to simulate the system , design a single channel Road DPSK optical fiber communication systems , observed self-phase modulation (SPM) on the transmission performance ; design a multi-channel DWDM system observation letter channel cross- phase modulation (XPM) , four-wave mixing (FWM) the impact of the transmission performance of the system . Firstly DPSK optical fiber communication system of the theoretical basis for discussion ; then , to establish DPSK optical fiber communication systems theory model OptiSystem software platform to simulate 40Gb / s optical fiber communication system , the design of a single channel DPSK optical fiber communication system transmission system , respectively input RZ- DPSK signal and the CSRZ-DPSK signal , and comparison of the different fiber input power of the simulation results , to determine the optimal fiber input power and the threshold value of power ; followed by comparison of the different distance single channel Road system RZ - DPSK with the CSRZ - DPSK of the Q value by mistake the bit rate and eye diagram obtained RZ-DPSK and CSRZ-DPSK to resist almost SPM 's conclusion ; Finally, the design of DWDM - based the DPSK optical fiber communication system model , compare the 8 - channel and 16 - channel , different transmission distance RZ-DPSK CSRZ-DPSK , Q value, bit error rate and the eye diagram , the results show , CSRZ-DPSK resistance XPM, the the FWM superior RZ-DPSK, more suitable for DWDM systems .
