Abstract

The number of wavelength-routed optical networks , the network can be provided by the source node to the destination node pathway by the factors of the number of wavelengths , optical digital network resources reusable each fiber link . Study how a given network environment , according to various limiting factors of the network for optical connection request to select the best route , and assign the appropriate wavelength resources so that the entire network is essential to achieve optimal performance . This paper studies the problem of dynamic routing and wavelength assignment (RWA, Routing and wavelength Assignment) . First of all , no wavelength converter network proposed a multi- factor comprehensive analysis (MCA, Multi-factorsComprehensive Analysis) RWA algorithm . The new algorithm wavelength layered graph model based on comprehensive analysis of the number of multiplexed optical fiber link distance network , link , and factors such as total number of wavelengths available network connectivity . The MCA algorithm of wavelength choose adaptation strategies for the first time . Computer simulation of the new algorithm are better able to reduce the rate of network congestion . Secondly, on the basis of the MCA algorithm improvements , improved algorithm called priority - based MCA ( PMCA Priority the Multi- factors Comprehensive Analysis) algorithm . PMCA algorithm improvements that wavelength selection strategy is based on priority , so that further balanced network flow . Verified through computer simulation , the PMCA algorithm outperforms MCA algorithm reduce network congestion . Finally , the article studies the dynamic RWA problem with a wavelength converter network , wavelength converter configuration problems .
