Abstract


With the social development, countries are exploring the development of thinking about the future city model eco-city will be the 21st century city ideal model of development. Living environment of urban sustainable development issues is an important part of the landscape and residential environment in the residential environment is very important part. Today a large number of old pre-existing urban settlements, these settlements reasonable renovation, is an objective need of to promote the eco-city construction,to provide opportunity for improve the urban landscape of the city shaping a new image, and is an opportunity of to enhance a living environment of the urban areas, improve the level of people’s living ,urban infrastructure and economic activity.Based on the theoretical knowledges of Landscape Design and Ecology, combined with the other disciplines’knowledge and content, investigating and researching on the instance with broad, comprehensive, in-depth,understanding the situation and the problems of domestic urban settlements’environment, to find out the solution, discussing the effective mode of the urban residential landscape update design. Choosing to accord with China’s national conditions ,operational and realistic significance the means of the ecological renewal to provide a practical referenced value research results. Sorting, categorizing,analyzing it and discussing the direction of development to provide theoretical foundation and direction of possible technical practice of the urban residential landscape update.
