With the in-depth development of the technology of the Internet applications, network hardware continues to accelerate processing speed, sustained growth in network bandwidth, the demand for information is not limited to text, images, and more of a real-time live video from the network. The face of such a huge amount of data transmission, the traditional unicast technology, multimedia applications, however, likely to cause network congestion, unable to keep pace with the times, so multicast technology supported network television, live online novel multimedia applications can be generated. IP multicast network deployment is complex, and its safety has not been a good solution, in order to achieve the multicast communication, application layer multicast has become the hot spot today. The application layer multicast in order to improve the flexibility of the network deployment, the multicast group communication functions transferred from the network layer of the router to the application layer of the end hosts self-organization to establish a logical overlay network between group members. Since the actual communication of the two terminal hosts work on the bottom, and its link remains when the unicast IP path, data transmission is therefore able to provide efficient, reliable service. The application layer multicast can give full play to the resource advantages of end hosts, because of its flexible and easy to implement, so widely used. Based on the analysis applies to the application layer multicast model of real-time applications on the basis of a large number of application layer multicast host member state stability, high data transmission efficiency shortcomings, proposed a hybrid application-based load balancing layer multicast model HMLB (Hybrid Application Layer Multicast Model based on Load-balance). This model uses a hybrid structure will be the entire multicast based on the distance clustering into a local network structure, the core node is generated based on the overall performance of nodes in the multicast group, and an effective load balancing routing mechanism enables end hosts make full use of its resources to handle service requests; core nodes forwarding tree, introduced in the forwarding tree data backup mechanism to effectively reduce the shortcomings of poor tree reliability. Simulation results show that the model can be reliably applied to real-time multimedia business scene, the average network latency, lower strength of the link, a small path stretching degree, can be stable to adapt to the dynamic multicast group node join and exit.
