Abstract


Image processing applications in image scaling is very important , especially in the protection of an image scaling process important regions affected. Image scaling ( adaptive ) is a digital image processing is an important issue . Digital images are often needs to be scaled in order to ensure that they are in communication with the transport network or show them to adapt to a user display device . Image scaling refers to changing the image resolution ( size) of the process to suit the particular design or application . In the image scaling technology , the most famous is the Seam carving. It is a content-based image adaptive processing . However, it sometimes will lose the protection of important objects in the image . This paper presents a novel interactive image scaling technology . It does so by Seam Carving and Grow Cut image segmentation algorithm combined to improve the image of the scaled visual effects. Crow Cut mainly used to select the image to be retained or removed objects. An intuitive , easy-to -use interface has also been supported because users need only the object's internal and external painting a trace , which can automatically get the object removed or retained objects of interest (ROI). Such content-based image scaling technology can zoom in and out , through a combination of Seam Carving and Grow Cut technology , deleted the definition of the new energy function described the scene of the lower energy line seams, these low- energy line from the background of the image area . We can maximize the protection of the image of the region of interest is not affected, increase quality image scaling . Experimental results show that the proposed method can easily be removed or to protect the image of the object of interest .
