Abstract


The current book purchase system in the libraries of universities still belongs to the traditional method .Teachers and students have to go to the library to search and book the books they want all by themselves. When books they need are not accessible, Librarians have to write down the information about the books so that when the books arrive the librarians can contact people who are eager for the books one by one. If a reference book gets lost or broken, it will cause serious consequence. It will not only cause a lot of trouble to students and teachers, but also time wasting and information lag. Then the librarians will have to face a big challenge when they do the statistics.Now we can solve these kinds of difficulties by purchasing books with new technology which based on Network Communication TechnologyThe essay in-depth analyses the system development of university library books based on the current situation, combined with features of University Library University Library Book Purchase System functional requirements, performance requirements. It also aims at the system and database design to achieve both design textbook university library system. University Library Book Purchase System design some main function including the "Free Information", "User Information Management", "Library Information Management", "Order of information management" and "comprehensive check management" modules 5 modules so that it can help to realize the material management, stapler information processing, statistical reporting, print processing, user information processing and also Maintenance treatment. Meanwhile, the essay also gives the design of the university library books and the security system.
