Abstract


Hybrid optical switching technology combined with wavelength switching and data packet switching advantages while overcoming their shortcomings , effective networking technology for next-generation optical network . In order to combine the wavelength switching technology OCS and the advantages of optical burst switching OBS , and a flexible and effective support for all kinds of business , we proposed a hybrid optical switching HyLABS (Hybrid Lightpath And Burst Switching) networking solutions and HyLABS , network optimization design . Network topology design for second chapter studies HyLABS of routing design and capacity design . Topology design heuristic algorithms are created to build the OCS layer virtual topology virtual topology and OBS layer virtual topology design problem is converted to OBS layer optimized routing problem . Two optimization in order to optimize the flow of the OBS in HyLABS network layer routing algorithm , optimized routing algorithm based on load balancing and optimized routing based on the shortest path algorithm , the simulation results show that the former superior to the latter in the network packet loss rate . No maximum capacity design capacity design , respectively, the OCS layer and the OBS layer and the optimization model . Chapter major research HyLABS network unified control plane technology . Through the expansion of existing GMPLS protocol , HyLABS network can seamlessly support different signaling schemes , exchange programs and resource reservation scheme simplifies the control plane original HyLABS network structure and reduce the complexity of network control . Subsequently discussed in detail based on the the GMPLS technology HyLABS network structure , the edge node structure and the core node structure and protocol . Chapter of the structure of the the two mixed applies to HyLABS network optical switching fabric , parallel hybrid optical switching fabric and cascaded hybrid optical switching . Two hybrid optical switching fabric , through the effective allocation of low-speed exchange module and the proportion of the use of the high speed switch module , hybrid optical switching structure can obtain higher acceptable rate . Subsequently the exchange structure of the mixed light cost estimates, it is estimated that the results show that compared with the use of a single switching fabric , the use of hybrid optical switching structure can effectively improve the network construction cost .
