Abstract

The wireless sensor network (WSN) is a product of the combination of the three pillars of the information industry in the 21st century ( computer , communication and sensor ) . A sensor-based wireless network technology , the case of a person or thing , the perception of the surrounding environment , and provide a variety of services for different users possible. WSN not only able to meet people from the transmission and retrieval of information to the new demand for access to information , and the subject of future communication material objects connected to the machine-to- machine ( M2M ) ---- , WSN will largely meet this new communication needs . ZigBee technology as the wireless sensor network technology standard one , with its own low-power , low-cost , low- complexity characteristics , more and more concern in the community , and its application research increasingly hot . Current research is mainly concentrated in the short-distance communication , its application is very confined . In the design of remote communication channel data transmission based on ZigBee technology , combined with traditional modes of communication relay network set up under way , application ZigBee own protocol specification , to achieve the purpose of long-distance communications . CC2430 wireless chip as the core the transmission node hardware circuit design based DTD243A wireless transmission module , serial communication interface , LCD and power management circuits , etc. ; IAR7.2H integrated development environment based ZigBee2006 version of the protocol stack , design data transfer and serial communication program, research network set up and multi-hop routing , and wireless development platform designed for system testing , to achieve the ultimate goal of this topic .
