Abstract

Wireless sensor network is a major concern in today's domestic and foreign, by the emerging multidisciplinary highly cross-frontier research areas, with considerable application value and market potential. From September 1993, the International Association of Electrical Engineers IEEE1451 protocol suite developed by the Organization, namely IEEE 1451 smart transducer interface standard (Standard for a Smart Transducer Interface for Sensors and Actuators), whose goal is to define a common set of communications interface, the transmitter at the field level using wired or wireless network connection, greatly simplifying various network constituted by the transmitter control systems, and supports \To the existing IEEE 1451 framework to build an open, standards-based wireless sensor interface to meet different application areas such as industrial automation needs, in June 2001 launched the IEEE 1451.5 proposed standard, that is, wireless communications and transmitter electronics Data Sheet format (Wireless Communication and Transducer Electronic DataShee (tTEDS) Formats). Wireless communication can be used on three criteria: IEEE 802.11 standard, Bluetooth standards and ZigBee (IEEE 802.15.4) standard, the design uses a ZigBee wireless communication, its main purpose is to study the standards-based IEEE1451.5 with Plug interface used for wireless sensor networks. In this paper, based on ZigBee (IEEE 802.15.4) wireless microcontroller technology CC2430 (SOC) chip, designed site temperature data acquisition module, through the CC2430 wireless IO modules, implemented based on IEEE 1451.5 standard for wireless sensor interface module WTIM (Wireless Transducer Interface Module), to complete the scene analog signal conditioning, analog / digital conversion, digital / analog conversion, command processing, data transmission, communication and other functions. NCAP (Network Capable Application Processor, a network adapter) is between WTIM between the network and the digital network communication interface, intelligent sensor network is critical. This design uses IPC-based LABVIEW as a virtual NCAP, to achieve the underlying wireless network access INTERNET, complete ZigBee-based WTIM connected to the network, to achieve a good interface and powerful data processing capability NCAP full functionality. To simplify wireless sensor interface module WTIM design, we use virtual TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet, transmitter spreadsheets), its files are stored in a computer based on the IPC's NCAP, the end user can read TEDS information to detect changes transmitter function, operating parameters, location, performance, advanced text formatting commands and other information. This gives the system software and hardware related design, the experiment proved that the system basically meet the design requirements. The design of the IEEE 1451.5 standard and the recently launched today, on how to achieve compliance with international standards IEEE 1451.5 wireless sensor network research carried out useful exploration.
