Abstract

With the popularity of computer networks and computer technology and the rapid development of communication technology , real-time voice , video and other multimedia applications, rapid promotion and popularization for managing multimedia session establishment , change and termination process signaling control protocol is essential. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) for the IP network architecture proposed a signaling control protocol , and compared with the conventional H.323 protocol stack , SIP protocol is more suitable for IP-based network session management. SIP protocol openness, flexibility , scalability and mobility and other advantages make SIP-based multimedia application technology has a broad space for development . However, the current SIP-based multimedia applications , the business layer to initiate or terminate a session, or to register with the registration server operations such as these are a direct request or response message is sent directly to the SIP protocol stack for processing. Such services, call , agreements are melted mixed together , or activities directly connected together with the agreement , the structure is more complex. For the above shortcomings , in this paper I H3C company's internship program presents a generic SIP call control model . The model is based SIP protocol stack based on a modular design, implementation of specific business call with independence , so as to function in the specific application system provides a convenient added and deleted . Firstly, the current session control technologies are introduced and analyzed, and focusing on the SIP protocol implementation mechanism are introduced. On this basis, the SIP call control model analysis and design , and one of the session management module design and implementation.
