Abstract


With the growing competition in the global, strategic mode gradually from the simple pursuit of efficiency and low cost of production to the pursuit of flexible, efficient and innovative single enterprise is difficult in these areas are the dominant position, which, kinds of new strategic model - strategic alliances have come into being. Through alliances with other companies, organizations can better achieve its own strategic goals, reduce risk and gain competitive advantage. Therefore, the Union has become an important strategic choice for many companies. Since the choice of alliance, then it comes to the effect of the Union issue has become one of the greatest concern of all enterprises. In this paper, the existing literature on the strategic alliance for the research-based, focusing on the strategic alliance, asset specificity, the complexity of the contract on the effect of alliance, as well as asset specificity on the complexity of the contract, proposed the concept model and research hypotheses. The main research methods used in this paper is a structural equation model. The specific empirical steps are as follows: First, in the study on the basis of relevant literature, the formation of the conceptual model and the survey questionnaire, pre-tested questionnaire has been adjusted to the indicators of the design of the questionnaire, the formation of a small sample questionnaire. Secondly, a small sample of data collected exploratory factor analysis, and based on the analysis of small sample questionnaire was modified to form a large sample questionnaire. Then, a questionnaire survey of enterprises in the Shenzhen region, the sample data. SPSS16.0 analysis of large sample data to test the reliability of the variable index system, which improve the index system. Finally, AMOS7.0 verify the effectiveness of the variable index system, the concept of the model is validated, come to the conclusion: strategic alliances in the asset specificity is stronger, the more complex the Union contract; asset specificity have a significant positive impact on Alliance Performance significant positive impact on Union Risk; and the complexity of the contract have a significant positive impact on alliance performance, but has a significant negative impact on the Union risk. In addition, to further explore the assets and contractual complexity of each dimension of the alliance performance, and the final results were theoretical explanation. The conclusions of this study show that companies wishing to better cooperation in strategic alliances, before the alliance and take full account of the degree of specificity of the resources invested in the Union, be alert to the risk of opportunism; the other hand, is to according to their need to select a suitable alliance contract.
