With the development of wireless network,there are more and more applications in wireless network.Because of the media streaming has more information and easy to understand,it has been more popular in wireless network. But the wireless media service needs to overcome the wireless channel fading, less channel bandwidth, error rate and other challenges. So how to provide reliable streaming media transmission QoS guarantee in the wireless network is becoming a hot issue in recent years.Network Coding(NC) is getting more attention because it can improve the network throughput and make the message more stable.Coopetative Communication can make full use of the diversity gains to overcome error of the packet caused by fading characteristics of wireless channel and the decrease of available bandwidth.This paper firstly introduce the challenges in the video streaming transmission and the researchs about Network Coding and Cooperative Communication.And then this paper prensents a Cooperative Communication based on Network Coding which can be used in video streaming transmission in wireless network.On the one hand,this scheme can make use of the advantage of Network Coding to improve the throughput,so the destination could get more usefull data from the relay node;on the other hand,it can use the diversity gains of Coopetative Communication in the wireless network to make the destination get higher signal to noize ratio(SNR) video streaming.In the Cooperative Communication,this scheme presents a relay selection algorithm which make full use of the signal between the source node and the destination node to select the best relay node for Cooperative communication,and the destination can get better video streaming.Finally,we prove this scheme is much better for video streaming through NS-2.Compared with the tradition wireless transmission,this sceme could decrease the bad effect caused by the wireless channel fading and the destination user can get more usefull video streaming data to improve the quality of the video streaming.
