In recent years, with the rapid growth in demand for wireless communication , the increasingly serious problem of scarce spectrum resources is very inefficient , traditional spectrum allocation , cognitive radio technology to take full advantage of the lack dilute spectrum resources in recent years by the people attention. OFDM technology is a high-speed multi-carrier transmission technology in a wireless environment , and its advantage is that the flexible configuration of sub-carriers and control its transmission power . Therefore , cognitive radio and OFDM , make full use of the the dynamic OFDM resource allocation and channel adaptability through flexible allocation of subcarriers , power control and spectrum management can be effective , improve resource utilization . This paper first introduces the concept of cognitive radio technology and development , as well as research situation OFDM-based cognitive radio technology . Secondly, the basic principles of OFDM resource allocation algorithm with traditional OFDM system , on this basis , a brief introduction of the CR-OFDM system framework and its resource allocation problem illustrates the OFDM technology used in cognitive radio system advantage. Then, the 0-1 combination of classic models as well as the advantage of interference temperature model , proposed a limited resource allocation model suitable for the CR-OFDM system - OFDM subcarriers model . Next, study the problem of resource allocation in a variable-rate multi-user CR-OFDM system . Optimal algorithms to maximize the total system capacity , taking into account the cognitive user proportional fairness principle the suboptimal algorithm as well as the paper proposes suboptimal improved algorithm , and detailed the various implementation steps of the algorithm , the use of means of simulation , three algorithms in three aspects of the system capacity , user fairness , and the complexity of the algorithm 's performance . Finally , the introduction of a fixed rate of cognitive user in CR-OFDM system , the CR-OFDM multi-user multi-rate system of resource allocation problem . Pointed out that the first allocation of resources to the fixed - rate user , and then the remaining resources assigned to the variable - rate user , so you can get the maximum capacity of the system . Introduced as a basis for the two-step as well as the proposed two-step improved algorithm , and the performance of the algorithm is verified by simulation .
