ENVISAT ASAR image from 2005 to 2006 as the data source , the use of multi-temporal , multi-polarization , multi- incident angle ENVISAT ASAR image of the East Dongting Lake wetland vegetation, surface change information for monitoring, remote sensing monitoring of ENVISAT ASAR data in the wetlands the advantages of study and summarize flood the East Dongting Lake wetland vegetation space distribution . Research results are summarized as follows: (1) wetland remote sensing image classification is a major problem in the study of remote sensing of wetlands , through the analysis of radar images after the backscattering coefficient found the same multi-temporal polarization , cross-polarization radar images of the band combination ability to distinguish between the strongest feature of wetlands . Studies have shown that the combination of gray feature Contrast texture features extracted gray level co-occurrence matrix based on the original image and the filtered image is used for classification , in order to achieve speckle noise suppression to reduce the loss of information inherent structure of the surface features the experimental results show that the method can improve the classification accuracy of the wetland . In addition, the comparison to 2005 different periods of the study area in the East Dongting Lake classification results found the auxiliary texture features for high-water wetlands classification results superior to low water wetlands . (2) East Dongting Lake wetland classification results of the three time periods in 2005 the landscape indices obtained reed ( Di ) , Carex constitute the main body of the East Dongting Lake Beach landscape , flooding low-lying beach land , and the high beach land reeds ( Di ) , plantations ( willow , poplar ) less affected by the floods . ( 3) sequence for a long time , the unipolar (HH) band ENVISAT ASAR image analysis of the backscattering coefficient of the water body , characterized in accordance with the characteristics of the water having a lower value in the radar image , using the threshold method to identify the body of water . Found through the calculation of the maximum immersion time index , representing the study 78.41% of the total surface of persistent land and waters in the persistent area , substantially no flood control pressure , while the remaining 21.59% of the variation waters due to its submerged frequently play a tune to lake significant flood water storage function , sedge , reed ( Di ) planted in the region should be controlled , to avoid detention siltation phenomenon .
