There have been more than 1600 interconnection postal network nodes in Hunan,all kinds of postal services have extended to every city,county,township and town in the province . More than ten systems are online running in the post information system,including electronic exchange, postal financial services, newspaper subscriptions, Speedpost query, branch offices of the production operations management, management of Postage Stamps, Postal central office production operations management.Now the postal information network can be divided into three levels and four structures, three levels are core layer, distribution layer and access layer, four structures are provincial center, state center city, county centers,branch.The project combines the Hunan Postal future direction of network development in order to reduce operation and maintenance costs, to meet a variety of WEB services, high-bandwidth and high-traffic business needs,for make full use of existing network and equipment of the backbone network, designed to city center and the third party network architecture, and ultimately can rely on MPLS VPN network-based, high reliability, high availability, economy, good scalability, unified Postal information network in Hunan province.This paper first describes the application of flow distribution, the existence problem are network structure complex,multi-line mode,more line delay and poor stability, QoS can not guarantee, ARP spoofing, followed by network design principles of the business bandwidth and network safety and technical safety aspects of a detailed analysis, then the IP address, IGP, BGP, OSPF and other protocols for planning, the network has a technical basis. Which simplifies the network structure, bandwidth upgrade greatly improves the stability of the whole network running, MPLS-based VPN and broadband access technology is the advantage of this engineering constuction. Hunan Postal Information Network was test run in May 2011, information network built to achieve green card network, integrated network, OA network, video network and also logic these network isolated, the network has a significant innovation, and made good economic benefits for Hunan Post.
