Abstract

Taekwondo started the development in the early 1990s in china, Since It was classified as an official event in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, Taekwondo has developed rapidly in China. With the reform of Physical Education Curriculum, Taekwondo come into the university sports classroom in the end of the century。Taekwondo attracts the college students by its self-cultivation, self-defense and fitness social effects, cool action and "leg art". Taekwondo Courses carries out mainly in elective courses, elective courses, clubs and other models. From the surface of the Ordinary University Taekwondo course in Jiangxi province, we can find that the students’enthusiasm is very high, but the actual effect on students’ learning and application ability after class are very poor, which forms a great.contrast with the students’enthusiasm. To enhance students’practical application of skills further, and train students’habits of life-long Physical exercise and the ability of self-training, I surveyed and analyzed the status of Taekwondo Teaching system、Teaching factors、Teaching effect and the problems in Public colleges and universities of Jiangxi Province. Around the teaching concept of Health first, lifelong sports, and in the guide of《National College Physical Education Curriculum Guidelines》,I put forward countermeasures and the suggestions on further reform and development of Ordinary University Taekwondo option class in Jiangxi Province, so as to offer references of promoting the healthy and orderly development of the Taekwondo teaching programs in Jiangxi ordinary colleges.The main conclusions emerging from the study are as follows:1、Ordinary University Taekwondo option class in Jiangxi Province has not only satisfied students’ Individual needs and promotes the Comprehensive development of students’ physical, and mental health, but also is good for bringing up quality sports and realizing the teaching objective, which is the organic convergence of realizing the national sports and lifetime Sports2、Most of the colleges in Jiangxi didn’t change their ideas and neglect Taekwondo. This paper examines all of the universities in Jiangxi Province, but the rate of commencement is still low, which indicates the popularity of college courses in Jiangxi Province is not high.3、The teaching materials of Taekwondo option class are short, there is no materials about for taekwondo option classes, which affected the result of teaching Taekwondo option classes to some extent.4、The reasons of effecting the popular rate of Taekwondo option classes in Jiangxi are:The number of Taekwondo teachers is small, especially the lack of professional teachers, the number of school hours is less, and the time of students’ practice is less.5、The serious lack of venues and facilities has restricted the development of taekwondo teaching in Jiangxi ordinary universities.6、The teaching means and methods lag behind the general reform process of school sports. Taekwondo Teaching option classes in Jiangxi province are still staying in the traditional teaching methods and means, the using rate of multimedia and other modern means is low, The factors of further development ordinary universities Some successful teaching methods in Taekwondo teaching has not spread effectively, which affects the further development of ordinary the Taekwondo option classes in Jiangxi.
