Abstract


The grid integrates the Internet into a super computer in order to achieve a comprehensive resource sharing.With the development of grid technology, network has become the bottleneck of the development of grid.It needs to develop Optical-Grid, the establishment of grid application based on optical network.The Optical-Grid not only has high-speed optical transmission characteristics, but also has the grid mass of data operation and storage capacity. Although the optical network has many advantages of supporting grid application, if we truly develop the optical network into Optical-Grid,it also exists many problems,one of which is how to determine the Optical-Grid resource description. Grid resource description is an important problem in grid research, a reasonable description of the grid resource is the premise of grid resource management.The thesis mainly researchs on the technology of Optical-Grid network resource description. How to implement the network topology on the basis of the description of network resource? Firstly,the thesis introduces the resource of Optical-Grid,discusses the important issue of optical-grid,and mainly shows the issue of the description of network resource.Secondly,the article shows three resource description technique.at last,it gives conclusion that RDF adapts to grid resource description.Again,for the current network, we study the key technologies of the description of the network resources,the abstract of network service,the description of network node.In order to provide a common data model to light path providers and users to exchange network topology information,the thesis proposes the description of optical network resource for the application of grid——Network Description Language(NDL) based on the Resource Description Framework (RDF).The thesis shows five modular schemas of NDL:topology schema, layer schema,domain schema,capability schema,physical schema,mainly talks about topology schema.When we know a NDL file, we can use the SPARQL query language get the information between nodes form the NDL file,then translate the information into DOT language,and finally use an open source graph visualization software GraphViz tools to open the DOT language, at last,network topology can be displayed in a graph form.
