Abstract


In last century,the word“Intellectual Capital”came into the world.It is used more and more by people and no longer a strange word.Under the backgroud of knowledge-based economy,intellectual capital has been playing a very important role in valuing process.So,it is very concerned that how to manage intellectual capital so as to pursue value,especially in high-tech company.There are many articles and books choose intellectual as their topic.But the terms of the intellectual capital in those literatures often vary.Anyway,how to define the intellectual capital,how to make this seemingly intangible concept of intellectual capital to be fully understood?Does the intellectual capital exist in the minds of employees, or hide in the process of the company?How to extract the value of intellectual capital?Intellectual capital has been playing a key role in the contribution to business performance,research on the management of intellectual capital can help companies make better strategic plans,this article’s subject is to study the relationship between intellectual capital and business performance so as to enhance the value of companies.On the basis of existing research,this paper uses internal and external environment as the adjustment variable,and put each variable into the regression equation one by one,so as to research how the internal and external environment affects the relationship between intellectual capital and business performance. Demonstration has shown that intellectual capital imposes a significant and positive effect on companies’performance,so the previous research results have been verified.The internal and external environment of companies can adjust the contribution.Among them,the macro environment has a positive regulation on innovation capital,process capital and customer capital’s contribution,and micro environment has a positive regulation on customer capital and human capital’s contribution.Both macro environment and micro environment have a significant effect on the relationship between customer capital and business performance.
